Marilyn is survived by her son Michael (Arlene) Maccagno and daughter Rachelle (Steve) Riggs, her four grandchildren, Hayden (Laura) Maccagno, Hannah Maccagno, Brock (Chloe) Riggs and Christine (Blake) Barker, two great-grandchildren, Camille and Luca Maccagno and her sisters Martha Ann Hammond and Christine Dykes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Maccagno, her son Richie Maccagno, her parents John and Alletta Van Gronigen and Sister Lorretta Matthews.
After their marriage in 1960, Marilyn and her husband Richard lived in Armona. There they owned and operated their family-owned store, Old Frank’s Market. She always made time to attend her children’s and grandchildren's sports and school events, she enjoyed baking cakes and working with flowers. She will be remembered for spending many Mother’s and Memorial Days in her garage with her good friend Mary Hinton making hundreds of bouquets. She also loved traveling and visiting with her great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the Grangeville Cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:30 am with a reception immediately following at First Christian Reformed Church 2175 Leoni Dr, Hanford.
