Pilar Garcia Calumpiano, after a long haul of Alzheimer’s Dementia passed away at the age 86 on September 3, 2014 at Hanford, CA with her children, son-in-laws and sisters at her side. A devoted mother and grandmother, Pilar was an epitome of love and courage who had lofty visions for her children. She emigrated from the Philippines with her husband in 1997.
She is survived by her five children, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Prospero and son, Nilo.
A vistiation will be held at People’s Funeral Chapel 501 N Douty St. Hanford on Monday September 8, 2014 from 5-7pm. Services will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at 10:00am at Armona Seventh-day Adventist Church 10771 14 ½ Avenue, followed by internment at Grangeville Cemetery Armona, CA.
