Rene Timothy Hernandez

Rene Timothy Hernandez, born in Hanford to Rene and Eugena Hernandez on March 7, 1959, passed away on January 26, 2018, in Hanford. He grew up in Corcoran, graduated from Corcoran High School in 1977. He married Chawntay Mckinzie in 1997 and they settled in Hanford.

The proud owner and operator of Rene Hernandez Concrete Construction, with over 30 years in operation, Rene will be remembered as a hard-worker with jovial charm and a talent for custom design. His work can be found all over the Central Valley in residential, public and commercial locations.

Rene loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, cooking for a crowd, and riding his Harley-Davidson. Ever the showman, he will be remembered for his dynamic personality and sense of humor. The world was a better place with him and the loss will be felt by many.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his three sons Ashley (Leah) Hernandez, Drew (Ami) Hernandez, and Austin Hernandez as well as his step-children Justin (Nichole) Macomb, Janelle Macomb and T.J. (Chancie) Weatherly and three grandchildren, Matthew, Jason and Riley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Corcoran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Toys for Tots: In Memory of Rene Hernandez at ToysforTots.Org.
