Dear family and friends of Mr. Coxsey,

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your and my beloved high school chemistry teacher, Mr. Coxsey. He was an incredible educator, mentor, and friend to so many of his students, and I feel privileged to have been among them.

Mr. Coxsey's passion for chemistry was truly infectious, and his dedication to teaching left an indelible mark on my life. Thanks to his guidance and encouragement, I was able to pursue my dreams of becoming a chemist and a registered patent agent, and I am now passing on his legacy as a high school chemistry teacher myself.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories of Mr. Coxsey's life and the many lives he touched through his teaching and his love for chemistry.

Mr. Coxey taught me Chemistry and Physics at Lenore High School. He was one of my favorite teachers! My maiden name is Scazighini, to which he would call me “Sharon Spaghetti “. I always got a kick out of his great sense of humor and jokes he would tell. I am very blessed to hear he knows the Lord Jesus Christ, and I’ll see him again some day! I too came to faith in Christ 40 years ago. His influence caused me to get my Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly, SLO in Chemistry and now, many years later, I teach Chemistry at Heritage Oak Christian School in Tehachapi, CA. Mr. Coxey will never be forgotten, he was a joy to be around!

Bro. Coxsey was always  so kind to me and my husband; always asking about him and it encouraged me to stay strong in the Lord and never give up.   I am grateful to have had a brother in Christ who shared his wise thoughts and taught at every opportunity.  He was always so thoughtful to send his annual Christmas letters and never removed my family from his list even though we moved away from Hanford over 37 years ago.  I will always remember him and Elva Mae and all that they did for us.   I am saddened that he is not here anymore, but I know for sure, he is where he always wanted to be when his time on this earth passed.  He loved the Lord; his family and his church family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Coxsey
at Beltone. He was a kind gentle soul that always had a good story. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the Coxsey Family. 

I work at Hanford Post Acute and took care  of Mr. Coxey's. He was always so sweet & encouraged me to further my career. He used to tell me stories about his family. He was so proud of them.  We miss him dearly. He was such a good man. I am so sorry for your loss.
