Ruth Eguia Hinojos

It is with deep sadness that the family of Ruth Hinojos announces her unexpected, peaceful passing on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was surrounded by her son, Ismael Hinojos and her daughter, Claudia Valenzuela.

Our Mother was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua on August 28, 1952. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her predeceased husband, Ismael Hinojos, and her children one of which is predeceased (Hector Hinojos). Our mother was a strong woman; she went through some tough trials and battles in life, yet she overcame them all through the grace and love of Jesus Christ. She always put her needs last. Her passion was singing to the Lord and sang at her church. She loved making us (everyone) laugh, and always shared very funny jokes at the table; we will cherish each moment. If you were sad and cried, she would cry with you, even if she didn’t quite know you, always making everyone feel welcomed. No one is truly prepared to lose a loved one, especially a loving mother. She will be greatly be missed and will be forever in our hearts. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalm 91.

Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children Ismael Hinojos, Claudia Valenzuela and Carlos Hinojos, her grandchildren, Mitchel Hinojos, Hannah Felix, Vanessa Hinojos, Samuel Valenzuela and Adriana Hinojos, her great-grandchildren Roman Felix, Abigail Felix, Noah Felix, Gabriela Felix, Moses Felix, Benjamin Felix and Kayle Andal, her sisters Melida Eguia, Socorro Davis and Raquel Rivero, nephews and nieces, and a number of other friends and family.

A short memorial service will be held by Pastor Felipe Lopez to honor her memory on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 11:00 am at Koinonia Church; 12536 Hanford Armona Road in Hanford, CA 93230. Arrangements under the direction of People’ Funeral Chapel.

Es con profunda tristeza que la familia de Ruth Hinojos anuncia su inesperado y pacífico fallecimiento el miércoles 13 de enero de 2021. La rodearon su hijo Ismael Hinojos y su hija Claudia Valenzuela.

Nuestra Madre nació en Chihuahua, Chihuahua el 28 de agosto de 1952. Fue ama de casa y dedicó su vida a su difunto esposo Ismael Hinojos, ya sus hijos uno de los cuales falleció antes (Héctor Hinojos). Nuestra madre era una mujer fuerte, pasó por algunas pruebas y batallas difíciles en la vida, pero las superó todas a través de la gracia y el amor de Jesucristo. Ella siempre puso sus necesidades en último lugar. Su pasión era cantar al Señor y cantar en su iglesia. A ella le encantaba hacernos reír (a todos) y siempre compartía chistes muy divertidos en la mesa, apreciaremos cada momento. Si estuvieras triste y lloraras, ella lloraría contigo, aunque no te conociera del todo, siempre haciendo que todos se sintieran bienvenidos. Nadie está realmente preparado para perder a un ser querido, especialmente a una madre amorosa. La extrañaremos mucho y estará por siempre en nuestros corazones. Su versículo bíblico favorito fue el Salmo 91.

Ruth será recordada con cariño por sus hijos Ismael Hinojos, Claudia Valenzuela, Carlos Hinojos, sus nietos, Mitchel Hinojos, Hannah Felix, Vanessa Hinojos, Samuel Valenzuela, Adriana Hinojos, sus bisnietos Roman Felix, Abigail Felix, Noah Felix, Gabriela Felix , Moses Felix, Benjamin Felix, Kayle Andal, sus hermanas Melida Eguia, Socorro Davis, Raquel Rivero, sobrinos y sobrinas, y varios otros amigos y familiares.

El pastor Felipe Lopez llevará a cabo un breve servicio conmemorativo para honrar su memoria el domingo 31 de enero de 2021 a las 11:00 a.m. en Koinonia Church 12536 Hanford Armona Road en Hanford, CA. Los arreglos serán bajo la dirección de People's Funeral Chapel.
