Beverly was born on October 20th, 1950, to Helen M. (Halladay) Schena and Thomas C. Schena in Quincy. Beverly grew up in the town of Weymouth and after graduating from Weymouth High School in 1968, Beverly married her high school sweetheart; Clifford E. Sullivan III on October 24th, 1970.
Clifford E. Sullivan III and Beverly Ann (Schena) Sullivan went on to have their one and only beautiful baby girl; Colleen E. (Sullivan) Blanchard in 1972.
Beverly was predeceased by her mother; Helen M. Halladay, her father; Thomas C. Schena, and her husband; Clifford E. Sullivan III.
Beverly is survived by her sister; Elayne G. (Schena) Tovet, her daughter; Colleen E. (Sullivan) Blanchard and her husband, Ronald F. Blanchard, her two granddaughters; Laurel and Lyla Blanchard, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Beverly was an amazing daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend to many. She was the hardest worker at Kent's Carpetland and The South Shore Medical Center, though she also knew exactly how to relax by sitting at the pool or curling up to Hallmark movies that she knew word for word.
Beverly was the loudest in the room. She loved to make people roll over laughing almost as much as she loved going to Disney World. Beverly was known to be daring, as she would go on all the roller coasters in the parks and speed around in her big Suburban SUV. Yet, she was also the most sensitive soul and gave the best advice in the world.
Beverly was the most organized person on the planet yet had the most clutter. She was strict, yet always willing to bend the rules to have a little fun.
Above all, Beverly was known for taking her duty as the best grandmother or “Mimie” in the world quite seriously. Her grandchildren knew that Beverly’s world revolved around them as Beverly never missed a show, competition, game, award ceremony, or dinner with her family. Beverly was known for giving endless love to those she cared for and this void she has left behind cannot be filled by any other.
Beverly Ann (Schena) Sullivan was one of a kind and her physical presence will be missed immensely by all who were lucky enough to feel her love.
All are welcomed to attend Beverly Ann (Schena) Sullivan’s funeral and celebration of life, which will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 11 AM at St. Bridget's Church, 455 Plymouth Street, Abington. Gathering to follow at Knights of Columbus, 254 Hancock Street, Abington.
