Catherine M. Reilly

Miss Catherine M. Reilly, 90, of Rockland died Thursday, February 5, 2004 in the Colony House Nursing Home in Abington after a long illness. She was born in Hanover on January 17, 1914, the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Reilly Reilly. She was raised and educated in Rockland and was a 1932 Graduate of Rockland High School. She then received a Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Bridgewater State College. Miss Reilly was a Teacher in Rockland for several years and in an Oregon Elementary School for 1 Year. She later taught in Weymouth at the Pratt School and the Ralph Talbot School before retiring in 1974. She was a Communicant of Holy Family Church, a Member of the St. Colleta's Guild in Hanover, a Member of the Bridgewater State Alumni Association, a Member of the Mass Retired Teachers Association and a Member of the Association of Retired State and Municipal Employees. She is survived by 2 Brothers, Dennis B. Reilly and Daniel J. Reilly Jr, both of Rockland, 7 Nephews and 3 Nieces. She was the Sister of the late Margaret Rose Smith. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 1 PM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street in Rockland. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 41-45 East Water Street in Rockland on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
