Born on March 25, 1972, he was raised and educated in Braintree, MA where he graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in 1990. George continued his education and earned both his undergraduate and master’s degree in business management from UMass Boston.
George loved spending time with his family. His sixteen nieces and nephews meant everything to him. Each one with their own unique memories of him, as he took the time to make them all feel special. He never missed a game or birthday; he was their biggest fan.
As part of a large extended family, George loved being with his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and their families. He also had a lot of close friends, many since childhood. He loved his weekends away, especially Saratoga, where he would pack up his truck full of “party equipment”.
George also loved music and comedies. Every family get together, of which there were many, there was a competition with the kids to see who could name the artist/band playing in the background. He knew the lines to all his favorite movies. You could always count on George for a well-placed movie quote or one-liner. And to quote a favorite of his, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance”.
As the extremely talented and creative person he was, George started his own carpentry business where he specialized in beautiful finish work. He was a perfectionist, and his work was a testament to that.
To know him was to love him. George had the biggest heart and always went above and beyond to help others. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever!
