Joanne was raised in Holbrook and was a 1968 graduate of Holbrook HS. Joanne was an award winning textile artist and lifelong educator. In the course of her career Joanne taught grades Kindergarten through College. Joanne was also a graduate of Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. She also held Master’s degrees in Visual Design and Education.
Joanne is survived by her brother Philip and wife Peggy of Gettysburg, PA and her sister Betty of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by her two nephews and their families, Michael Denise of Upton, MA and Mark Denise of Ladson, SC.
Joanne requested no wake or funeral. A celebration of life will be planned for sometime this Fall.
