Joyce Evelyn Noyes

Joyce E. Noyes, of Pembroke passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 88. Born on February 13, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Alice (Woodworth) Brooks and was raised in Braintree.

Joyce was the devoted wife of the late George Noyes, Sr. She was the loving mother of Robert S. Noyes of Pembroke; Wayne E. Noyes and his wife, Kelly, of Greenville, Maine; Scott M. Noyes and his wife, Laurie, of Pembroke; and the late George Noyes, Jr. and his wife, Caroline, of Halifax. She was the dear sister of the late William Brooks and his wife, Drema, of LaBelle, Florida. Joyce is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She worked for many years as a cafeteria worker at Silver Lake Regional School and later at South Shore Hospital. Joyce enjoyed traveling with her husband and often shared stories of their more than 25 trips to the Caribbean, as well as the many cruises they enjoyed together.Joyce will be remembered for her love of family, her hardworking spirit, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
