Louis "Rick" Truscello

Louis "Rick" Truscello lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 26, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Judy (Stremeckus) Truscello and his children, Ricky and his wife Juliana of Hanover, Amy Spalt of Marshfield and Matt and his wife Erica of Hanover.

He adored and loved spending time with his grandchildren: Bella and Abrianna Spalt and Vincent, Leo and Evangeline Truscello.

Rick was born in Cambridge in 1948, son of the late Louis and Ramona (Church) Truscello of Arlington. Brother of Patricia Schwab of NC and Sandra Cannon of Burlington and the late Robert Truscello of Tewksbury and William Truscello of Billerica.

Rick owned and operated a transportation company located in Belmont servicing surrounding towns for the last 46 years as well transporting Special Needs Children, in which he took great pride. He was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts for 30 years traveling with them to many countries.

Family and friends will honor and remember Rick's life by gathering for visiting hours in Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in Hanover on Thursday, June 1st from 4-7PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 2nd at 9AM at Our Lady of the Angels- St. Mary’s, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Burial will be at Hanover Center Cemetery.
