Michael Regan

Michael Patrick Regan, age 65 of Hanson, passed away peacefully at his home on November 9, 2021. Born February 4, 1956 in Boston, he graduated from South Shore Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1975. Michael worked as an Auto Body Technician and Manager for over 20 years. He pursued his passion for cooking with a second career in culinary until his retirement in 2019. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, playing cards, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his wife Kathryn Demers. He is survived by his son Michael R. Regan and girlfriend Sabrina Carroll of Carver, daughter Meghan Ann Regan of Rockland, stepson Jason Murphy of Hanson, and his granddaughter Victoria Ayala of Rockland.

He is survived by his siblings Diane L. Regan of Brockton, Linda P. Shattuck of Kingston, and Catherine (Kelly) Sykes of Plymouth. He leaves behind his nephews Brandon Sykes, Wesley Sykes and wife Julia, and many in-laws and friends who loved him.

Michael is predeceased by his parents Thomas F. Sr. and Catherine D. (O’Keefe) Regan, his grandparents Arnold and Grace Carlson, and his siblings Thomas F. Regan Jr., Richard R. Regan, and Ann Margaret Regan.

Internment will be held on November 27, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Cemetery, 92 Centre Street, Rockland, MA. A Celebration of Michael’s Life will follow at noon at T.J. Smith Victorian House, 13 Cross Street, East Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s honor may be made to the Pine Street Inn.
