Patricia Marie O'Neill

Patricia Marie (Klotz) O'Neill, age 74 of Falmouth and formerly of Hanson for 49 years, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 3rd, 2021. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Shirley (Berchtold) Whitley. Patricia was a devout Catholic who prayed the Rosary daily and was a Third Order Franciscan. She also taught CCD for almost 10 years and volunteered at her church and with hospice care. Patricia loved her house in Falmouth and her dog Kipper. Above all, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren.

Patricia was the beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph O'Neill. Devoted mother to Shauna MacKenzie and her husband James of Bourne, Amy Prostran and her husband Sinisa of Rockland, and Joseph O'Neill and his wife Evangeline of Quincy. The oldest of 9 siblings, Patricia was the dear sister of Charles Klotz, Robert Klotz, Kevin Whitley, Nancy Gardner, Robin Davidson, Brian Whitley, Sean Whitley, and Kerry Anne Gardner. Cherished “Nina” to her grandchildren Nicholas and Jamie MacKenzie and Maxwell and Luka Prostran. Patricia also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 45 East Water Street, Rockland, MA on Monday, March 8th. 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 392 Hanover St., Hanover, MA 02339 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.
