Paul Leonard Simpson of Pembroke entered eternal life suddenly on August 2, 2021. Paul was born on July 22, 1964 in Weymouth to Janet E. (King) Simpson and Leonard P. Simpson of Braintree. Paul is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl (Hayes) Simpson of Quincy, son Adam H. Simpson of Pembroke and his fiancé Tricia Stacy, and son Zachary P. Simpson of Pembroke and his girlfriend Lyndsay Bauer, of Westbury, NY. Paul is also survived by his two sisters Christine J. (Simpson) Mendoza and husband Paul of Brockton, Julie A. (Simpson) Gozzo and husband Joseph of Braintree and 6 nieces and 8 nephews. Paul graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton in 1982. Paul was employed by Gillette for 25+ years as a CAD technician. Paul was an active member with the baseball and hockey community in Pembroke. Paul adored watching his son’s Adam and Zach play sports. Paul was always there to help the sports teams his sons were a part of by volunteering his time to better the team and organization. Paul was a big Boston sports fan; the championships won by the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots brought great joy to Paul. He took any opportunity to talk about sports and make suggestions on improvements the teams could make to get another championship. Paul loved fishing and being out on the boat, enjoying the company of family and friends. Paul will be missed by all, his willingness to help those in need and be there for others were Paul’s most endearing qualities.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Monday, August 9, from 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be private.
