Pauline M Clifford

Pauline M. Clifford, 74, of Duxbury passed away surrounded by her family and friends on October 16, 2018. Born in Boston on August 13, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Olga (Twetkow) Tolstuk. Pauline was raised in Cambridge, MA, graduating from Cambridge High & 

Latin School in 1962, before going to work for New England Telephone. She worked several office jobs throughout the years, before starting her favorite job as a loving grandmother. She loved reading, knitting, crocheting, cooking, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Pauline is survived by her devoted husband Patrick of 48 years. She was the loving mother of Michele Callahan of New Bedford, MA, Michael Clifford and his wife Denise of Brockton, MA. Cherished grandmother of Ron Stewart and Daniel Clifford, and great-grandmother of Isabella Stewart. Beloved sister of Patricia Ryan of Medford, MA, Marie and brother-in-law Herbert (Biff) Maffeo of Malden, MA, and Irene Madden of Windermere, FL. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pauline's life on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street Rte. 53, Hanover, MA. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 20th, at Sullivan Funeral Homes. Burial to follow Mayflower Cemetery, Tremont St, Duxbury.
