

Pauline M. Rioux, 82, of Marshfield died, Sunday, October 5, 2003 after being stricken ill at home. The daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Labrie Gagnon, she was born in Fall River on February 22, 1921. She was raised and educated in Fall River and moved to Milton when she was married. She lived in Milton for 40 years before moving to Marshfield 12 years ago. Mrs. Rioux had work as a Cook for many years at Milton High School and at Milton Hospital. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Marshfield Newcomers Club, the St. Christine Sodality and she was a daily communicant at St. Christine Church in Marshfield. The wife of the late Joseph F. Rioux, she is survived by 2 sons, Paul A. and his wife Marcia Rioux of FL, and Richard J. Rioux of Marshfield, 2 daughters, Elizabeth A. and her husband James Lydon of Marshfield and Diane M. Rioux also of Marshfield, 3 grandchildren, Aimee and James Lydon of Marshfield and Nathan Rioux of FL, 1 sister, Clara and her husband Alfred Forgette of Oxford, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 10:30 AM in St. Christine Church, 1295 Main Street, Rte 3A in Marshfielld. Internment in Couch Cemetery in Marshfield. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
