Phyllis Ann Austin Dunn

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Austin Dunn, 74, of Hanover died Friday, May 20, 2005 in her home after an illness of several months. The daughter of the late M. Linwood and Beatrice Nickerson Austin, she was born in Halifax on September 12, 1930. She was raised and ecuated in Middleboro where she lived until moving to Hanover 14 years ago. Mrs. Dunn was a graduate of Middleboro High School and a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She was employed for 33 years as a School Teacher in the Town of Pembroke. She was the founder of the South Shore Horsemans Council and was a member of the Mass Teachers Association. Wife of the late Harold L. Dunn Jr, she is survived by 2 sons, Harold L.''Harry'' Dunn 3rd of Hanover and Jonathan B. Dunn of Carver, 1 daughter, Lynne Dunn Christensen of Bridgewater, 2 sisters, Beatrice ''Deeda'' Austin Belmont of Middleboro and Linda Austin Greene of West Bridgewater and the late Thomas Austin. Private Funeral services will be held in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53,HANOVER. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater. Visiting Hours in the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
