Robert P. Murray

Born and raised in Dorchester, Bob was the son of the late Michael and Elsie (St. Croix) Murray. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty (McKee) Murray. Loving father of James D. Murray and his wife Christine of Hanson, Robert M. Murray and his wife Karen of Carver, the late Christine E. Murray, and Robert P. Murray, Jr. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, Zachary, Mathew Murray and dear brother of Annmarie O'Connor and her husband John of Mashpee.

Bob graduated from Wentworth College with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. He worked many years for Stone & Webster in Boston and for Entergy in Plymouth. Bob enjoyed boating and was a huge Patriots Fan. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing guitar.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 29th, from 4-7 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St, at the corner of Route 14 & 58, in Hanson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 30th, at 11 AM at Holy Apostles Parish (St. Joseph's the Worker Church), 1 Maquan St, Hanson. Burial to follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
