

Mr. Robert L. Pratt, 80, of Norwell died Friday, April 28, 2006 in the Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital in Boston after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Rockland on January 12, 1926, the son of the late Chester L. and Bertha M.Perrault Pratt. He was raised and educated in Rockland and has been a resident of Norwell for over fifty years. Mr. Pratt attended Northeastern University and was a graduate of the Bennett Street School in Boston . He had been employed as a Jeweler for several companies including Shrieve, Crupm and Lowe Jewelry stores. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of the Rockland Council of the Knights of Columbus and was a former member and past Commodore of the Satuit Boat Club. He is survived by his wife, Constance A. Flavell Pratt, 1 daughter, Mary L. Studley and her husband Jay T. of Hanson, 1 brother, Edward B. Pratt of Calabash NC, 1 sister, Dorothy Salvucci of Rockland and 1 grandson, Mark R. Gredler of Hanson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 11 AM in St. Thecla Church, 145 Washington Street, Rte 53 in North Pembroke. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3-6 PM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover.
