Ronald A. Ryan

Mr. Ronald A. Ryan, 61, of Hanover died Monday, September 19, 2005 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. The son of the late Donald and Stella Welenc Ryan, he was born in Salem on July 20, 1944. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was graduate of the former St. Francis College in Biddeford ME. He received his Masters from Salem State College. Mr. Ryan has been employed as a teacher for over 32 years for the town of Amesbury. He had taught at the Amesbury Elementary School, the Cashman School and retired 1 year ago from the Amesbury Middle School. He was a member of the Amesbury Federation of Teachers. He is survived by his wife Mary A. Hanlon Ryan, 4 children, Karen Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Kevin Ryan and Katelyn Ryan all of Hanover. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 11 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Internment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
