
Mr. Thomas J. Mullins, 86, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Arlene St. in Hanson, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a recent illness. The son of the late Thomas and Margaret Lee Mullins, he was born in Boston on August 29, 1921. He was raised and educated in South Boston and was a longtime resident of Hanson, moving to East Bridgewater this past year. Mr. Mullins served in the Coast Guard during WWII and had been employed as an Accountant for General Electric. He is survived by: his wife, Beatrice Butler Mullins; 4 children, Maureen Matamoros and her husband Raul of Simsbury CT, Thomas Mullins and his wife Maureen of Andover, Kathleen Mullins and her husband Edward Malloy of Sherborn and Sandra Mullins of Fairfield CT; and 6 grandchildren, Diego and Miguel Matamoros, Maggie, Mary Jane and Colleen Mullins and Erin Mullins-Malloy. He was the brother of Robert Mullins of Quincy, Claire English of Holbrook, Louise Quirk of Scituate, Joseph Mullins of Milton and the late John Mullins and the late Marie Tradd. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 9 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Rte 14 in Hanson. Mr. Mullins' nephew, the Rev. Msgr. Timothy J. Moran, Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Medway will be the Principal Celebrant. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Monday from 5-9 PM.
