Tricia "Trish" Lynn Russell age 46 of Warrenton, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 8th after a long and brave battle with Langerhans cell histiocytosis. The courage she displayed while fighting this disease was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Born on December 30, 1972, she was the beloved daughter of Ben Russell originally from Walpole and Cindy Russell of Sandwich. She was also the cherished granddaughter of Barbara and Ben Russell of Walpole and the late Emily and Harry Miller.
Tricia was a brilliant and artistic person. She prided herself on the fact that she excelled using both sides of her brain. As an engineering graduate of Cornell with a masters degree in business, she worked with the US government quickly becoming a director of her department. Trish realized the importance of being a life long learner and hoped to pass the gift of knowledge to her younger siblings, niece and nephew.
Trish was an avid quilter, knitter and always eager to learn new crafts. Her gorgeous quilts were always gifted to others along with a little piece of her heart. Trish’s greatest joy occurred when visiting her family in Massachusetts celebrating the holidays, traveling, anything Disney and of course her spicy food.
She will be greatly missed, loved and remembered by her father Ben Russell and mother and step-father Cindy Russell and Bill Diedering, her sister and husband; Suzanne and Rob Curtis, sisters; Lauren and Jenna Clum-Russell, brother; Eric Clum-Russell, and niece (God-Daughter) and nephew, Elizabeth and Robby Curtis, step-daughter and family; Colleen Smith and her beloved pugs; Zoey and Peanut.
May her memory be a blessing.
