Carl Michael DeLutis. 68, of Harrisburg, entered eternal rest Saturday, November 27, 2021. Mike was born May 31, 1953, to the late Joseph and Janet (Cox) DeLutis. He graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School, class of 1971. Mike retired from the Trucking and Transportation Industry with over 40 years of service. He was an avid sports fan for Notre Dame football, The New York Yankees and Bishop McDevitt. All who knew Mike knew his candid sense of humor, loyalty to his friends, dedication to work and his devotion to family. Surviving is his loving wife of 49 years, Maria R. (Soutner) DeLutis; two daughters, Michaelynn Freedman, (Aaron) and Melissa Davis, (Steven), both of Harrisburg; son, Christian DeLutis, of Ithaca, NY. His biggest pride was his three grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Leo and Sam Freedman. He also leaves behind four siblings, Lou DeLutis, (Mary), of Camp Hill, Mary Jo Krovic, (Steve), of Elizabethtown, Joseph DeLutis, (Lisa), of Mechanicsburg and Mary Ann Stouffer, of Harrisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N.
