Carl V. Lowry

Carl was born September 19, 1930 in Elm City, NC, son of the late Willie and Pearlie (Revels) Lowry.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, where he was a Retired Communication Chief with the US Army and also retired with the former Capital Bakery.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 27.

Carl was a dedicated 35 year fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers; he loved spending time with his family, being with friends, working in the garden and many outdoor activities.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Hildegard Lowry, of Lower Paxton Twp, sons: Peter Lowry, his wife, Sophia, of Herndon, VA, Steven V. Lowry, his wife, Rebecca, of Herndon, VA and 5 grandchildren

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg, PA, with viewing from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, prior to service.

Interment with Military Honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
