Carolyn M. Packer

Carolyn M. Packer, 98, of Wesley Village, Pittston, formerly of Harrisburg, and Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Wesley Village. She was born May 10, 1917 in Pittsburgh; she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Dickson; and preceded in death by her husband, Glenn L. Packer; grandson, Glenn M. Packer; great grandson, Christopher Packer; and 3 sisters, Dorothy Patterson, Gloria C. Rice and Garnet C. Kumpf. Surviving is her son, Glenn A. Packer, wife, Lois, of Wilkes-Barre, PA; a grandson, Kevin Packer, of Tunkhannock, PA; 2 great-grandsons, Kevin Packer and David Packer, both of Tunkhannock; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Harrisburg and was a retired bookkeeper for Gabels. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Shoop's Cemetery, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held 10:00 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Christopher J.
