Eleanor P. Cox

Arrangements under the direction of Neill Funeral Home, Harrisburg, PA.Eleanor P. Cox, a long time resident of Paxtang, died Saturday, the 19th of March at the Jewish Home of Harrisburg, surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 17, 1914 in Johnstown Pennsylvania, she graduated from New Cumberland High School. She was employed as a statistician for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. Eleanor was married to the late William F. Cox for 55 wonderful years. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and seashore vacations, but most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her son, W. Richard (and his wife, Marie) Cox of Medford, NJ; her son Robert F. (and his wife Rebecca) Cox of York, PA; and her daughter, Cathleen Foley of Harrisburg, PA; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A "Celebration of Life" mass will be said for Eleanor at Holy Family Church, 555 S. 25th Street, Harrisburg on Sunday, April 3rd at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
