He was born August 27, 1928, in Staten Island, NY; he was the son of the late John and Eleanor (Salgado) Mojecki; and preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle (Shaffner) Mojecki; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
He was a retired steelworker from the former Bethlehem Steel, Steelton; and was a U.S. Army veteran of WW2 and the Korean War, and he was a recipient of the bronze star.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Harrisburg, St. Mary’s Club and the Deutcher Club, both of Steelton; and a life member of the Steelton American Legion Post 420 and the Steelton VFW Post 710.
He is survived by his stepson, William Reilly, of Lancaster; a step grandson; 2 step great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Constance Rawley, of Winthrop, ME and Patricia Frederick, of Mechanicsburg.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2013 in Holy Cross Cemetery.
