Eva G. Caruso, 89, of Rutherford Heights, passed away at Ecumenical Retirement Community December 2, 2020. She is the wife of the late Joseph A. Caruso, daughter of the late Afton and Eva (Paslawsky) Goida. Born in Coaldale, PA, graduate of the former Coaldale High School Class of 1949. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the State, Nationwide Insurance and St. Catherine Laboure School. Surviving are her son, Mark J. Caruso (Terri), daughter, Sharon Shoun, Grandson Mark J. Caruso Jr. and Granddaughter Taylor Shoun, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of four sisters and three brothers. Eva enjoyed bowling, knitting, gardening and crossword puzzles. A viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Graveside Service will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine Laboure School, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
