Florence M Phillips

Florence Phillips, Middletown, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Catherine Sheetz and the widow of Glenn W. Phillips, Sr. She had worked for the Penn Harris Motor Inn and retired from the Hansel & Gretal Daycare.

She is survived by four sons, Gary (Betsy) Phillips of Harrisburg, Glenn (Kimberly) Phillips, Jr., of Enola, Robin Phillips of Harrisburg, and his companion, JoAnne, of Enola, and Wayne Phillips of Carlisle; two daughters, Tracey (Samuel) Smith of Middletown, with whom she lived, and Michele (Stephen) Saltzburg of Halifax; eleven grandchildren, Carissa, Glenda, Kyle, Amber, Jamie, Megan, Sherry, Scott, Jared, Nevin, and Travis; three great grandchildren, Tamyia, Kai, and Noah; her brother Herman (Pat) Sheetz of Harrisburg, and one uncle, George Harvey of Mechanicsburg. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Lynn Phillips.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 11:00 am, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with a viewing from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Shoop's Cemetery, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
