John Charles Soule

Born November 30, 1933 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Howard D. and Mary (Buck) Soule; and preceded in death by his wife, Emma Dean (Casey) Soule; and his sister, Alice Hurley.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Charlene M. Orris and her husband, Donald, Michele A. Smith and her husband, Will and Nanette L. Hughes and her husband, Timothy; son, Howard D. Soule and his wife, Vickie; 6 grandchildren, Justin Orris, Ashley Orris, Tyler Orris, Mandy Blattenberger, Matthew Soule and David Soule; 3 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren; and sister, Rita Berkebile.

John was a retired warrant officer for the US Army and a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
