Marjorie J. Corish, 84, of Lawnton, passed away at home on Monday, December 12, 2011. She was born August 3, 1927, in Pittsburgh, to the late Herbert and Julia Beltz.
Marjorie graduated from John Harris High School and worked at USF&G for many years before becoming a stay at home mom. When Marjorie returned to the work force, she was employed at various stands in the Kline Village Farmer’s Market. From there she transferred to the West Shore Farmer’s Market and worked at LD Weavers.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her husband of almost 60 years, Maurice, and her daughter, Gretchen Fisher. A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers of America, The Humane Society of Harrisburg, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Bethesda Mission.
