Veronica Marie Smith

Veronica was born on July 14, 1938, in Bloomsburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Smith, of Aliquippa, PA. She was also predeceased by her parents, Brunnock "Brownie" and Agnes (Alkosky) Bolinsky and her four siblings, Evelyn Deihl, Agnes Rupert, Albert Bolinsky and Walter "Sonny" Bolinsky.

Veronica is survived by her daughter, Maria A. Finn (paramour George L. Bivens); and the light of her life, her loving granddaughter Caileigh M. Finn.

She is mourned by many close family members especially her three nieces, Evelyn "Ann" Ralston, Doris Hartzell (husband Bob) and Jane Pennington (husband Keith) of Bloomsburg, PA; her very special great nephew Bradley Ralston; Jeffrey Ralston (wife Eve Dower Ralston); her great niece Brooke Pennington (paramour Scott Mertz) and many other nieces and nephews in the Ralston, Smith, Bolinsky and Rupert Families; and her sister-in-law Carol "Tootsie" Bolinsky.

Veronica worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, retiring after 43 years of dedicated service in several agencies, most recently with the Auditor General's Office and the Department of Revenue.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church 6150 Allentown Blvd. Harrisburg, PA 17112. Viewings will be held on Monday May 29, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg, PA 17111 and on Tuesday from 11:00am till the time of mass at church.

An interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA will immediately follow the mass.
