Walter W. Segebart, 95, of Ecumenical Community, Harrisburg, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019.

Walter was born June 7, 1924 in Denison, IA; he was the son of the late Louis J. and Ida S. (Hoffmeier) Segebart; and preceded in death by his wife, Agnes F. Segebart; son, James W. Segebart; and daughter, Rose Ann Segebart.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Mosel and Louise Koppenheffer; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Spohn and Mary Ann Segebart; brother, Harold Segebart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Walter was a retired employee from T.R.W., Harrisburg and a U. S. Marine Corp veteran of WWII.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, the Linglestown American Legion Post 272 and Walter was a proud Marine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus School, 6190 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17112.

Walter is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes F. Segebart; his son, James W. Segebart; his daughter, Rose Ann Segebart; and his parents, Louis J. and Ida S. (Hoffmeier) Segebart.
