He was born on October 13, 1945 in Chicopee, MA, and was the son of the late Alfred J. Menard, Sr. and Bethel Thompson Menard.
Alfred was a loving husband and father, and is survived by his wife, Marie; and his children, Kevin, Jessica, Ivania, Faron and Baby Felix; as well as two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Forget.
He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was an Administrator and Educator at JMU before retiring.
A Mass will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic church 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 with Father Joseph Goldsmith .
