He was born on February 18, 1972 in Ranson, WV, and was the son of Larry and Cheri Smallwood Folmar of Staunton.
Chris was a master carpenter and was of the Christian faith.
On October 27, 1997 he married the former Cindy Harder, who survives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Bethany, Samantha, Brooke, Amber, and Adrian; two brothers, Jeremy Folmar of Verona, Joshua Folmar of Goldsboro, NC; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Fuller of Charles Town, WV; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by wife, Jennifer Folmar.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church in Staunton, with Pastor Randy Spencer officiating. Burial will be in a private family cemetery.
