Edward Joseph Moran

He was born on July 30, 1928 in Framingham, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Frank and Mary O’Keefe Moran.

Ed worked in the printing industry for over 60 years. He had the Master Printer of American designation. Ed was an active member of the Glenmore Hunt Club of Virginia was active in many of the Blessed Sacrament Church activities in Harrisonburg, VA. Ed was known by many….and a friend to all.

On November 28, 1946 he married Ruth Veronica Pignone, who preceded him in death on February 16, 2011.

He is survived by two sons, Edward F. Moran of Newtown, CT, Christopher X. Moran and wife, Lisa of Dayton, VA; four grandchildren, Catherine, Nathan, Thomas, and Andrew Moran; one brother, Richard Moran of Florida; two sisters, Christina of Florida and Katherine in Massachusetts.

A wake will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Father Tom Mattingly will officiate a Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 17, at the church. Burial will be private.
