Janet DeClue Broadbent

Janet “Jan” DeClue Broadbent, of Harrisonburg, passed away on December 25, 2020 at her home.
She was born on August 8, 1945 in Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Paul Leon and Nellie Daugherty DeClue.
Jan has lived in the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County area for twenty-eight years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and she loved to bake.
On April 20, 1963, she married Bryan L. Broadbent, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2019, after 56 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, Todd Broadbent of Philadelphia, PA, LeAnne M. Cain and husband, David, of Harrisonburg, Jennifer P. Broadbent of Weyers Cave, and Jeremy B. Broadbent and wife, Elena, of Staunton; grandchildren, Corey and Cassidy Cain; and one great-grandchild, Landon Meadows.
Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated.
