She was born on Jan. 5, 1949, daughter of the late Edgar C. and Helen G. (Miller) Wertz. She married the late Bruce Reilly in June 1967 and the late Thomas Scott in March 1981. On Jan. 20, 2006, she married Brice Smith in Inverness, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Brice Smith; two children, Brenda Dively (Craig) of New Market, VA and Bruce Reilly, II (Kim) of Bristow, VA; and her sister, Connie Trexler (Phil) of Indiana, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Judy was a 1966 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. She was employed by Delta Computers and Altoona Ophthalmology. She attended the Altoona Bible Church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting in her spare time.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family requests that donations in memory of Judy be made to the Hahn Cancer Center at Sentara RMH, Harrisonburg, VA.
