She was born on May 6, 1981 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Dale Ladd and Deborah Nieswander.
She is survived by a son, Dale Nieswander of Timberville; daughters, Shyanna Shifflett of Broadway and Grace Goldenberg of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Gracelyn and Alora Shifflett; father of her children, Ricky Shifflett of Broadway; a sister, Wendy Dove of Norfolk; and a niece, Jumaira Yvonne.
In addition to her parents, a son, Dondrick A. Shifflett preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
