He was born on August 30, 1946 in Elkton and was the son of Floyd T. and Laura O. Meadows Watson.
He is survived by a daughter, Bobby Jo Hoover; and a son, James Hoover of both Harrisonburg; five grandchildren, Shay, Sa’Myah, Sa’Lajah and Kinsley Hoover, Sa’Mia Hoover Barber; three brothers, and one sister.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his significant other, Patricia Eavers Hoover.
He will be cremated and there will be no services.
