Mary Elizabeth Larson

She was born on May 31, 1920 in Connecticut, and was the daughter of the late Dennis and Winifred Conroy Gallagher.

Mary was retired from North Carolina National Bank, and had worked in the banking industry throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Waldemar Larson, Jr.

Mary is survived by two sons, Richard D. “Rick” Larson and wife, Judy of McGaheysville and Robert W. “Rob” Larson and wife, Lori of Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren, Katy Hurd and husband, Jon of Fredericksburg, Christopher and Cody Larson of Fort Myers, FL. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

The family will receive friends 5-6:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg; a funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM, with Chaplain Paul O’Gorek officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL. The casket will remain closed.
