Mary Frances Reilly

She was born in Harrisonburg on April 2, 1940 and was the daughter of the late William S. and Lillie V. Cox Reilly.

Mary graduated from Harrisonburg High School in the class of 1958 and Madison College (now James Madison University) in 1962. After teaching school for many years in Mt. Jackson, she continued her studies in Data Processing and went to work for Goodmark Foods in Raleigh, NC as a Systems Analyst. After retiring from Goodmark Foods, she moved back to Harrisonburg where she became very active in church activities, library work, class reunions, art classes, Lifelong Learning Institute classes and very many other activities. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harrisonburg and was an avid animal lover.

Mary is survived by a brother James V. Reilly and wife, Elizabeth, of Bridgewater; two aunts, Aileen Regina Reilly and Rita G. Reilly; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, W.C. Reilly; sisters, Patricia Reilly Due and Margaret S. Reilly.

A Mass will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Joe Goldsmith officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
