Ruby Ellen Hensley

She was born on October 7, 1931 in Rockbridge County and was the daughter of the late William and Cornelia Lotts Anderson.

On January 7, 1951, she married Glenn Douglas Hensley, Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Glenn Douglas Hensley, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Hensley.

Ruby had been employed with Metro Pants and Cargill, and was a member of Word Ministries.

She is survived by three sons, Lee Roy Hensley & wife, Anna, of Dayton, Keith Hensley & wife, Lisa of Harrisonburg, Larry Hensley of Dayton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren a brother, George Anderson and wife, Rowena of Waynesboro; a niece Angela Anderson of Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends 7-8:00 PM, Sunday, November 25, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 26, at the Chapel of the funeral home, with Minister Elvin Shank officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
