Barbara Sue Edwards

Barbara (Bobbie) Edwards age 70 of Speedwell, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2012. She was a faithful member of Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church for 46 years. She served as Youth Leader, Sunday School Secretary, Vacation Bible School Director and on the nominating committee. She worked at Imperial Reading/Health-Tex for 20 plus years. She is preceded in death by her Father, Ted Roger Edwards, Mother, Odie (Kelley) Edwards, Brother-in-law, Eddie Newport and Sister-in-law, Brenda Edwards.

She is survived by her Brothers: Larry (Millie) Edwards of Speedwell, Tennessee

Lonnie Edwards of Chesapeake, VA

Carl (Gloria) Edwards of LaFollette, Tennessee

Dan (Vanda) Edwards of Barboursville, VA

Sisters: Brenda Evans, Joyce Newport, Betty (Jessy) Gregg, Pam (Johnny) Perkins all of Speedwell, TN

She was a second mother to her brothers and sisters and a second grandmother all her nephews and nieces whom she loved and cherished.

And a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends 6 until 9 P.M. Monday night April 2, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Edwards Cemetery in Speedwell, Tennessee
