Betty Lucille Treece

Betty Lucille Browning Treece age 91 was born January 13, 1926 and passed to her Heavenly Home November 2, 2017 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Browning of Middlesboro, KY; brother, Ray Browning; sister, Ruth Browning both of Middlesboro, KY; husband, Ray W. Treece of Speedwell, TN. Betty met Ray at Woolworths Company where she was employed. He had just returned home, Veteran of World War II. He was only survivor of plane crash and was on crutches when they met. They were married on Christmas Eve. Betty and Ray professed faith in the Lord and were baptized together. They joined Red Hill Baptist church.

They had two children: Kenneth Treece and wife Judy of Harrogate, TN

Daughter: Kay Robertson and husband Larry of Speedwell, TN

Grandson: David Robertson of Speedwell, TN

Great grand-daughter: Bethany Robertson of Speedwell, TN

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Sunday November 5, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Sunday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Old Red Hill Cemetery Monday November 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
