

James “Buddy” Brown age 76 of Harrogate, TN passed away Thursday September 17, 2015 at Physicians Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Brown; parents, Omalee and Lillian Brown; brothers, Carl Ray, Robert and David Brown; and sister Juanita Gibson. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Marilyn Gillis. Buddy loved yard selling, fishing and push mowing his yard, but most of all he was a dependable and loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Papaw.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Saturday September 19, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service at 2 P.M. Sunday September 20, 2015 Riverview Cemetery with Military Honors.
