Viney Prater Sandifur

Viney Prater Sandifur age 93 of Harrogate, TN went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2012 with her children and grandchildren at her bedside. She was a member of Greer’s Chapel Baptist Church. Viney was preceded in death by her loving husband Pride Alonzo Sandifur; son, Raymond Sandifur; grand daughter Shannon Bussell Rose; daughters-in-law, Sue Bolton Sandifur and Zola Ellison Sandifur. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Viney was usually found taking care of others, cooking, gardening and sewing hand made quilts. She was a kind hearted compassionate, nurturing Christian woman and will be greatly missed.

15 Grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Forge Ridge Cemetery.
