

Bossier City, LA – Funeral services celebrating the life of Agnes will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Kings Highway Christian Church. Reverend David Brice will officiate. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton, LA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to7:30 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Agnes was a member of Kings Highway Christian Church in Shreveport and enjoyed going to church, taking care of her family and visiting friends.
Married on March 7, 1960, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gordon Stanley, parents, Ulyesse an Eve Trahan, one grandson, Brandon, two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her three children, all of Bossier City, Nanette Stanley, Karen Stanley and Steven Stanley; two sisters, Hazel Roy and Mildred Champagne; five brothers, Dalton Trahan, Harold Trahan, Haywood Trahan, John Allen Trahan and Ulyesse Trahan, Jr.; five grandchildren, Brook Harris, Jennifer Rowland, Kevin Stanley, Heather Stanley and Joshua Turner; and three great-grandchildren, Lailah, Marley, and Gavin and two on the way.
Honoring Agnes as pallbearers will be the Elders of Kings Highway Christian Church, Alan Swilley, Roger Adams, Wayne Boyd, Pete Bratlie, Larry Wise and Terry Rodenroth.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Turner and Kevin Stanley.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all the of the physicians and staff of Willis Knighton Pierremont and an extra special thanks to Dr. Seaborn Woods and Margie.
