Annie Thompson Mock

SHREVEPORT LA- Services for Annie Thompson Mock, 75 will be Thursday March 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gene Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Annie was born in Lake Providence Louisiana on March 5, 1937 and went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2012 at her residence. Annie was a member of Shreve City Baptist Church in Shreveport, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting bird figurines, as well as cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Aaron and Annie Thompson, her brothers; Carl and Herman Thompson, and sister; Nell Dixon. Annie was also preceded in death by husbands; David Cheek, and Pat Mock.

Annie is survived by her daughters; Diane Trousdale and husband Bennet, Rhonda Branch, and three grandchildren; Nicole Trousdale, Clint and Connor Powell; brothers; Aaron (Jr.), Bob Thompson and niece Barbara Marchbanks.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the physicians and the staff of Willis Knighton Pierremont for the care given to her.
