Anthony Jordan Copia passed July 14, 2010 in a tragic accident. A celebration of his life will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Saturday July 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday July 16, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Born in Bossier City on April 24, 1986, Jordan always brought happiness into the room. He is survived by his parents Dave & JoJo Copia, and his sister Emily Copia, Grandparents Robert E. "Bob" and Barbara Horton and Grace Copia, and the late Sam Copia. Aunts, Cindy Horton Boudreaux and husband Ron Boudreaux, and Tammy Horton Dixon, Cathy Copia Pedigo and husband Thomas Pedigo, Pamela Copia Stabile and husband Michael Stabile, Janet Copia Pemberton and husband Jeff Pemberton, and Uncle Joe Copia. He also is survived by his many cousins Chase and Colby Musick, Tyler, Mallory, and Madeline Dixon, Brian and Cara Joy Pedigo, Sarah, Jessica and Christina Stabile, Brandon Dunn, Nikki and Cicely Copia, and Gracie Pemberton. Jordan is also survived by his two beloved dogs Rad-Rat and Lacey which he loved dearly.
Jordan graduated from Airline High School in 2004. After high school he attended Louisiana Tech University and was employed at Porters Industrial Cleaning. He was a favorite among his many costumers, which he adored all equally. Jordan was an avid deer hunter and loved anything outdoors. Jordan also loved spending time with his family most of all. His family functions were frequent and filled with plenty of laughter to which Jordan always brightened the room with his charming smile. In his free time he volunteered as a coach for a little league baseball and football team, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Jordan was loved and will be sadly missed by the many people whom he touched throughout his life.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Dixon, Chase Musick, Colby Musick, Jonathan Hodge, Joe Miller, Pat Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Maston Nance, Byron Jones, and Jabarrus Jones. The honorary Pallbearers will be the fellow employees of Porter’s Industrial Cleaners.
